This wonderful project, inaugurated on April 14, 2011 during the 30th anniversary of the School of Optometry Inter American University of Puerto Rico, has two main objectives:
- Raise funds to the scholarship fund of the School of Optometry. This initiative will help those students who, despite their economic needs, continue to prepare themselves to prevent blindness in Puerto Rico, United States and worldwide.
- Establish a way of supporting artists from Puerto Rico, particularly those with visual disabilities, including the blinds.
This innovative project is led by Mrs. María Julia Aulet, Director of Development Office of the School of Optometry with the assistance of Mrs. Mildred Collazo, artist and art curator specialist.
